On different sojourns in the lovely Applegate Valley of Southern Oregon, We've been lucky enough to meet the subjects of this very nice clip - fermented vegetables makers Kirsten and Christopher Shockey. High summer outdoor Barn Dances at their homestead have been memorable occasions for us ; and when I think of the people from the local community, the delicious potluck feasts, the down home music from local musicians, the Shockey's and their family, I can't stop thinking the words "wholesome and healthy" !
